Sayveon Anderson, a 25-year-old active-duty soldier assigned to Fort Bragg, after he was reported missing following his failure to appear for morning formation. The disappearance has prompted an ongoing investigation led by the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID), with assistance from local law enforcement agencies as officials work to determine Anderson’s whereabouts and ensure his safe return.

According to information released by military officials, Anderson was last seen on June 29 at approximately 6:00 a.m. on the Fort Bragg installation. After he failed to report for duty, he was officially listed as absent without leave (AWOL) on July 1. Army officials have emphasized that the investigation remains active and that efforts are focused on locating Anderson and gathering information that may help explain the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

Family members have expressed deep concern, saying they have been unable to reach Anderson since he went missing. Relatives reported that his phone has been going directly to voicemail and that there has reportedly been no activity involving his bank accounts or financial cards. Family members said Anderson was last seen by his wife on June 23 when he left their Fayetteville home with fellow soldiers. They also stated that Anderson had recently been experiencing personal difficulties. According to relatives, he had been staying at a Fayetteville hotel while dealing with mental health struggles and other challenges in his personal life.

On June 25, Anderson was arrested at a Fayetteville hotel on charges that included second-degree trespassing and resisting arrest after an issue reportedly occurred involving payment for an extended stay. Family members have said the incident occurred during a difficult period for Anderson and are urging authorities and the public to focus on finding him and understanding what happened after his disappearance.

Anderson’s family said his last known conversation with his mother, Pamela Anderson, took place on June 27. During that conversation, they said he told her that his wife had requested a divorce. The news reportedly came during an already challenging time for Anderson, who family members say was preparing to welcome his first child with his wife.

The disappearance has raised concerns among Anderson’s loved ones, who say the circumstances are out of character for him.
